I reproduced this issue in Debian Testing as well:

Setting up roundcube-core (1.3.6+dfsg.1-1) ...
dbconfig-common: writing config to /etc/dbconfig-common/roundcube.conf

Creating config file /etc/dbconfig-common/roundcube.conf with new version

Creating config file /etc/roundcube/debian-db.php with new version
creating database roundcube: success.
verifying database roundcube exists: success.
populating database via sql...  done.
Enabling roundcube: ok
Enabling fastcgi: ok
Met dependency: fastcgi
Enabling fastcgi-php: ok
already enabled
Run "service lighttpd force-reload" to enable changes
dpkg: error processing package roundcube-core (--configure):
 installed roundcube-core package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 2
Processing triggers for libc-bin (2.27-3) ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
 roundcube-core
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
