Well, I have nothing against it. I actually don't know anything about
ctdb. I really hope I'll learn a lot at SambaXP about it..:-)
From my poor knowledge, it seems to be a very important feature for
ppl who manage large installations, who are among our important
"clients" in Debian.... so I'd blindly vote to activate this
feature...and do it ASAP so that we can catch any build or usage
problems.
On the other hand, the timeframe is becoming pretty short for samba
3.2.0 to be in lenny. The release managers have explicitely called
maintainers to "soft freeze" their packages so, at one point we will
need to decide whether we target 3.0.x in lenny, or 3.2.x
3.2.0 is planned for release during SambaXP, that is around April
15th...I think this is short but we should still consider having it in
lenny.
