A preliminary question: when attempting to check out the source, I'm
prompted for a password: do I need to be added to the alioth project to
be able to checkout? I have an alioth account that I also use with
Debian Women; it's [a very obscure] christine-guest.

It's a little daunting to be following such an important package, but
hopefully I'll eventually be able to make useful contributions, which is
awesome. :)
