You can checkout anonymously:

svn co svn://svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-shadow/trunk shadow


Of course, I will add you to the project so that you can work on a non
anonymous repository.  I just need that I don't forget. Not easy asI
often work offline during my travel time back/from work (and there's
still no wireless in the Paris area busses and trains, dammit..:-)).

To convert the repository you checked out *without* rec-checking it
out:

svn relocate svn://svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-shadow/trunk svn+ssh://svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-shadow/trunk

(I never did this to change an anonymous in non-anonymous mais this
should work. It works when a SVN repository is moved away)
