Sorry, Nicolas François provided us with this file *explicitly* so
that you can initialize the po-based translation. I worked with Simon
to get the file up to date. Could you please check with Nicolas how he
intended the file to be used? It's been some work, and getting a "not
usable" afterwards it quite disappointing (not for me, but for the
translator who took great length to get a good translation).

Yes, of course. But we are all volunteers, and I don't know if Simon
intends to continue on these man pages (there a lots of man pages and
other content waiting to be translated).

Please check with Nicolas how he produced the file, we (Simon and me)
just used the template as provided. The only thing we did, was to
convert it once to latin1 and back to utf-8 using recode.

Once you've checked we can of course unfuzzy, but I really don't see
how a completly translated man page can have 562 untranslated strings
(and 118 fuzzy). We should first try to find the cause for this gross
problem.

Ok. Often translators will provide you with feedback as well, which
you might want to consider.

Sorry, what exactly do you want us to do? I think/understand that
translators should only work with the po file, correct? Or do you mean
we should give you updates for the english original version?

Yes, work on the source. But this should be (at least from the
translators POV) the po file, as the xml version is generated from it,
correct?
