Yes.

I still did not inform any translator. I will later try to get an
indication whether they agree on having the translation performed in the
TP, and will keep you informed if one language has to be tagged external.

Does "you must not modify PO files in your repository" mean that I should
also stop updating the PO files according to the POT file?

Shadow used to be in the set of packages used by the Debian Installer, and
Christian Perrier managed to get *a lot* of new translations, with
responsive translators to update them.
We usually pinged the last translators to get updates.

I did some unfuzzy of strings with English typos, but not that much.

Yes. I will change the POT filename accordingly.

OK.

Christian Perrier and me were following the upstream development of shadow
as Debian maintainers. We decided to take over the maintenance of shadow
in October 2007 on the Alioth project used for the Debian package of
shadow:
http://pkg-shadow.alioth.debian.org/

The SVN repository is located on
svn://svn.debian.org/pkg-shadow/upstream/trunk

It was not really cloned from the PLD repository since we had no archives,
but we imported old tarballs and the last known CVS checkout of the PLD
repository.

Best Regards,
