No.  It is in /etc/init.d/ipmievd, however (from ipmitool, which I have
installed for the ipmitool command).  I'll try to disable the daemon, to
see whether it also fixes the emergency shell boot.

No, there is only one such prompt at all. The screenshot doesn't show it, but
there are only green OKs above, up to the failure to mount /mnt/dvd-1,
which triggers the emergency mode, but which

Ah, yes, after two minutes I get another one.
