Hello,

recently I tried to look for useful phone software in Debian. So
"apt-cache search phone" showed far too many hits. And "phone software"
did NOT find asterisk. Then, after a hint from a friend, I looked at the
package exact description - and was confused, only confused.

 - The short description: does not say anything to a new user. "Open
Source" can be removed completely, it has no informative character to be
important in the short description. "Branch Exchange" is some
marketing foobar but does not say anything about what it does. What
about "Software telephony system, PBX compatible"

 - The long description:
first paragraph: full of blah, blah, still no information about what
it does except of the word "telephony" in random context.
second paragraph: blah, blah about standards for foobar, just a
comment about "supported ohne equipment" which now begins to make
sence. After reading 14 lines, oh well..."
rest of it: looks like a copy of some specs file

Regards,
Eduard.
