Well I have uploaded 0.8.51-1-1 which doesn't use our other shared libs :-(

Perhaps it would be better to go back to using our well proven shared libs, it 
isn't impossible, just a little difficult..

That said, we do have both in the archive, shared libs without echo in testing 
and without shared libs with echo in unstable.  If we don't like unstable, we 
should raise a RC bug against it within the next 10 days to stop it going 
into testing.
