[Pkg-zfsonlinux-devel] What more can be done to get ZFS into Debian?

True, but we "would like" to distribute binary packages, so that
we can add it to D-I. But we came to the conclusion that it was
a breach of license.

I tried for months to get around that, but I could find no good
solution. Not something we as a distribution could stand behind.

Yes, there's several scripting and other "weird" ways of solving
this, but I wouldn't want to put my name behind any of that and
release it in the name of Debian GNU/Linux. Nor then support it!

The "problem" is of course the limited space we have on the D-I
image. And I had to increase that anyway, which I can't remember
if it would pose a problem (I think I went beyond the 2.88MB
limit or something like that).
