Hmmmm, I think I was wrong the excuses is mentioning a regression in
r-cran-recipes.  While the log specifies a hint that the said
test-depends are missing there the debci page says "PASS" so these are
optional.  I wonder what exactly might be the problem here.

BTW, since you were mentioning your tests on Ubuntu:  You are kindly
invited to always do team uploads in r-pkg team if you think you have a
fix for any issue.
