Hi,

It's working fine here on my Acer Prisa 620. Since lineart is not very
thoroughly tested (few people seem to use it) it's possible that it
never worked on the 3300u.

Unfortunately I don't have access to an 3300u. Could you send me a
debug log of a lineart scan?

To produce it, run
SANE_DEBUG_SNAPSCAN=255 xscanimage 2>debug.log
select a small scan area and a low resolution and scan an image. Exit
xscanimage and send me the debug.log file. It would also be helpful
if you could include the image file, once as lineart, once as
grayscale.

It may also be neccessary to get an USB trace of a windows scanning
session, but maybe the debug log is sufficient.
