Most services of alioth.debian.org have been down for several hours.
The machine ran out of file descriptors and had to be rebooted.
Everything should work now again.

There is a mirror for the web pages at http://www2.sane-project.org.
That mirror does not depend on alioth.debian.org.

Also, information about problems with the mailing list or other SANE
resources is usually available on the SANE IRC channel (#sane at
freenode.org).
