I'd like to try and write a backend for this scanner, that I own=

that last year there was some talking about it on this li=
st, but nothing came
out of it.
I'm an experienced C programmer on UNIX=
 platforms, but have never written
drivers and USB interfaces, so the th=
ing that scares me the most about it is the
lack of technical documentat=
ion about the protocol this scanner uses.
Has anyone got any insight on =
where to start from?
