[sane-devel] CanoScan D646U ex

Hi

I have a canon canoscan d646u ex and I want to use it with sane in Linux
The problem is that as you know sane does not support this scanner so I
made my decision to write a driver for it. I have been googled around
for a while about a technical documentation and chip information but
with out any luck I didn't find anything useful. 
Would you please help me to do it by providing some information about
this scanner and any prior effort which might be done if there is any.
