[sane-devel] SANE2, time for a decision

Toy might want to look at Enlightened Absolutism; because democracy
doesn't work for software development. to inefficient.

If you want to develop a standard, do so; don't search for consensus
you only have to put it in public eyes for scrutiny, this doesn't stop
the development of driven people.

If it's required to fork to get the job done then do so. there is no
oligarchy here where a set of 'enlightened' developers are better than
everyone else because they've been doing it longer and are more
involved with sane so that some how affords them more rights (which it
doesn't) and ego and arrogance have no place in software development
either.

It's nice to think your in a special little club and that people can
either be under you or not involved but they don't work like that and
it's about time sane got it's act together and stop pissing in the
wind.

To conclude: Do what you have to, ignore the ego and the egocentrics.
