[sane-devel] Avision / Visioneer Strobe XP 450 problems

I tried adding the following to the sane.d/avision.conf file:

#added to read the visioneer strobe xp 450
#addresses found from sane-find-scanner
usb libush:001:008
usb 0x04a7 0x0424

After that change;

Xsane reports no devices available

sane-find-scanner -q

Reports:

found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a7, product=0x0424) at libusb:002:008


What should I do next?
