[sane-devel] how do I use scanner hardware sensors (e.g. scan button)?

Thanks again for the quick reply.

I'm answering one of my questions here for the sake of the list archives:

On OS X, it appears the SANE headers and libraries are in

/usr/local/include/sane/
/usr/local/lib/sane/

and the SANE Mac SDK installs its files in

/usr/local/Developer/SDKs/
MacOSX10.5.sdk/usr/local/include/sane/
/usr/local/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.5.sdk/usr/local/lib/sane/
