Well, in my time I've decided on plustek pro 
st28 exactly for it having negatives module. Was 
I disappointed when linux driver for it never 
happened, at least in 10 years (!!?!). And my 
own attempts in driver writing were rather 
clumsy, as the info you'd need is rather more 
than just datasheets.

That box of negatives' rolls still awaits. ))
