Wow.  Thank you so much for doing this!

It's reassuring for packagers and users to read a high-quality 
summary of changes by someone who knows the project -- rather than 
pretendi^Whaving to sift through 1000 commits themselves without 
understanding what most of them do.

Your work was very much appreciated in upgrading to 1.0.31.
