[sane-devel] Fwd: unable to read device-id

Hi Olaf,
I removed all scan packages and tried to install again the package that I
downloaded from epson site. The error is still the same. The package name
is "iscan-cx4400-bundle-2.30.4.x64.rpm.tar.gz".
My scan is an Epson Stylus CX5600.
I removed all HP packages conform you said and the LOG is different now.
When i run "scanimage -x 100 -y 100 -format=jpeg > x.jpg" the LOG is like
this:
