This did cross my mind, but I was too lazy to dig out the TPU, and
I wasn't expecting the change.

OK, I will see if I can set the scanner up with the TPU: I don't use
it very often, so it is a bit of a kerfuffle to rearrange everything.

Worth a note in the changelog?
