[sane-devel] scanbd with Fujitsu fi-7260 Scanner: need help

Please note that I have never used scanbd, but I am the author of the
fujitsu sane backend. I just took a quick look at your logs to see if I
could help.

Your scanbd config seems really odd, with lots of default stuff you don't
need enabled. The fujitsu.conf file already has support for reading the
function setting and placing the value in an environment variable. The base
scanbd.conf already has support for reading a scan button and calling
'test.script'. Seems like all you need to do is replace test.script with
something useful.

Also, it is expected that pressing the scan button on the scanner, and then
running scanimage -A will not show that the button was pressed. Scanimage
is not a daemon, so is not running when the button press happens.
