Hello,
This week I did some changes to the patches I have made for freetype. And
I also patched libmnl and libnetfilter-acct. Their problem were the same
and changing -fvisibility in CFLAGS to default can fix them. The work of
reporting bug for them will be done in week 4.
I was trying to fix apt and db5.3 which failed because of test error. It
seems apt failed because some variables in test cases wasn't initialized
correctly. I am still trying to confirm. db5.3 is similar, failed because
of some memory issues. I will keep on focusing on them in week 4.
There also comes some other problems. Some packages failed not only with
clang, but also with normal tools. They are procps and systemd. Procps's
problem has already reported as bug. I should discuss with my mentor about
how to deal with these ones.
Cheers,
Joseph
