This is one of those "if only everyone used linux/unix" things, or at
least "if only kids were used to logging into computers with an id/pw
and systems were set up accordingly". On linux, tuxmath's "gold
stars" are stored within the user's home directory, so if everyone
logs into the computer as themself, this issue gets taken care of
automatically. But individual logins are not so ingrained in the
Windows world outside of the workplace (and often not even there) - at
all the elementary schools I've seen, students share a common login,
or the computers are simply left open all the time.

Tim added a simple login system to tuxmath a while ago to address this
- it isn't a real security system, just user identification on an
honor system to allow tuxmath to keep track of which kids are on what
lessons. This probably will all be superseded once we get the
tuxmath-admin project to a more complete state.

Best,

David
