I don't think this will be necessary. 7.4.4 is functional enough with
the btape-fix-backport and the only other interesting thing in 7.4.5++
is the ACL/XATTR rewrite. The rest are mostly fixes for Solaris and
native *BSDs.

Going to 9.0.1 would make the most sense, IMHO.
