Prio to working on those changes I was under the impression
dh_autoreconf runs aclocal, but this assumption was wrong.

I now believe aclocal.m4 should be regenerated upstream and not by the
build system. In that case patching the file locally until Kern includes
the change and regenerates aclocal.m4 himself would be the more-or-less
correct way.

But again: autotools and myself never got along so my conclusion may (or
even will) be utterly wrong.
