Hi,

so defaulting to abort the installation makes piuparts fail on salsa:

The piuparts readme has something about variables that are set, it's not
clear if they are only set for piuparts custom scripts or generally:

https://piuparts.debian.org/doc/README.txt

Maybe we can test for the presence of PIUPARTS_PHASE and not show the
warning. It feels a bit like what the automobile industry did with
the diesels though ;-)

I won't have time to test in until the evening.
