[pymvpa] event related tutorial problem

yeap -- that functionality was introduced after the latest release
(0.4.2) (just 4 days after actually ;))

Although, if you have events specified in FslEV3 type of file, then you
could load that one and use its .toEvents method (that functionality is
there since 0.4.1 iirc)

But in the best case, indeed, you better make use of bleeding edge
version from git -- new release is coming out soon
