Thanks for this report too!

The functions are in the current development version that we will release
as soon as we have finished a transition of the documentation to a new
way of structuring input data.

In the meantime I have fixed the permission issue in the module
reference.

I'd say that the code is safe to use. It is actually a straight port of
a Matlab implementation by Tom Nichols -- it probably cannot get better
than this ;-)
