Hello,
as we all hoping the release of Stretch will happen soon there are some mostly
RC bugs arised in the past for kopanocore. We have to take and eat them all
otherwise we won't go into testing after the next automatic transition from
unstable to testing is opened up again.

Guido suggested not to wait to things that may happen in the future (well
spoken :-) ) and I tried to get the issues with the needed changes. Before I
pushed the changes to the repository I will post the various commits I made
here for discussion.
