Well,    the    provided    configuration    enforces   the    use    of
/var/lib/roundcube. Do not symlink to /var/www/roundcube but you can use
aliases. See at the top of /etc/apache2/conf.d/rouncube.
Use the good features of a language; avoid the bad ones.
