I have looked at the changes for 2022b upstream (sadly, there is no
suitable git tag but the commit I downloaded as a tar.gz was
701a8c17931111598a5f4a5d9e0d2b2e0ae89e61). I get the same errors
reported when building that with unstable.

I note that the path reported is c++/10/ and there were issues with
nvidia-cuda-toolkit and g++-11 in other packages. gcc-defaults now
points at g++-12
